last thursday, i attended  the local food summit at the matthaei botanical gardens.
naturally (no pun intended,) i brought the flowers,
which shared the table with zingerman’s bagels and coffee,
and a delicious lunch from brendan and jay of a knife’s work. 

it was a stirring day with informative speakers and stimulating brainstorming sessions…
and did i mention the delicious lunch?
