north to maine…
driving north from boston on saturday,
our destination was camden, maine.
greeted by old friends and new,
we were whisked up the chair lift of camden snow bowl–
where spectacular views awaited…
the following afternoon, we explored the salty shore
and found more seaweed than i could eat in my lifetime.

back east: day two
thursday night’s delicious meal at franklin cafe in boston’s south end had us directly home to the hotel to watch barack’s acceptance speech in a horizontal, digestive position. i will admit, i didn’t make it through the whole thing…but falling asleep with a full belly and a heart full of hope isn’t a bad way [...]

east coastin’
i realize i have been off-topic (no green thumbing or black dogging)
as of late, but such is this time of year–that pause in the season,
where you think about life outside of the garden.
so…i am in bah-ston for a couple days, then up to maine and back…
i am attempting to document the trip as it unfolds [...]
