pot & box goes blue…

whew! this morning (if 4:30am counts as ‘morning’) pot & box set up the president’s tailgate at crisler arena…
despite the hour, i was so excited to work on such a big project, complete with eight 14′ birch trees and lots of up-lighting.
i think i’ll be dreaming in maize & blue.

the future of (floral) design

last friday, pot & box provided flowers for the design
school’s dinner in the liberty lofts glasshouse.
the place was totally transformed.
black curtains everywhere,
and did i mention the dinner was taped?
(oops, i mean digitally recorded.
but, hey, coming from the girl who still has cassettes and VHS.)
and yes, the dinner guests we recorded.
which means one thing to me: [...]

pink party

this saturday, pot & box is donating flowers to the pink party…
which YOU should attend. it’s a fundraiser for the american cancer society,
and everyone–including the flowers–will be dressed in *pink!*
dance, drink, eat…and raise awareness and moola for the fight against breast cancer.

saturday, miss maggie & mr. joe
tied the knot at the michigan theater…
then celebrated their union at the venue
formerly known as leopold bros.
a local wedding to the max.
pot & box was there with the greens of
summer and classic whites & ivories:
bells of ireland, fuji mums, calla lillies,
waxflower, hypericum berries, as well
as sage & lamb’s ears from [...]

farmers’ market wedding

what a weekend!
jenny & art got married at the kerrytown farmers’ market,
and not only did pot & box provide the flowers,
but i stayed on to cater with a knife’s work.
saturday was a glorious afternoon,
which turned into a magical evening…
