lisa’s list

garden-toolsphoto courtesy of livable streets

i talk to a lot of people about gardening. like me, everyone i talk to has stuff they want for their garden…and stuff they have, but don’t need. what i hope to do here, is to connect everyone’s wishlists for trade or sale. of course, as a gardening business owner, i am available to expedite any exchanges of goods–whether with my red shovel or my black honda element…

so, green thumbs and not-so-green-thumbs…what’dya got?
…daylillies multiplying? bamboo overtaking?
…unneeded fencing? unwanted compost?

please post your haves & needs in the comments below, complete with a description of the item(s) you are seeking or want to get rid of (and how much you want for them in cash or trade) as well as the best way to contact you. i will attempt to organize & post the listings in a cohesive manner. any suggestions for such organizing & posting are more than welcome…

  • Another brillant idea from Lisa! Love it!

  • Great idea! What I need is a garden in Chicago, beyond what’s on my balcony. That I can sit in, plant and weed. So if anyone has one, I’d be interested. :)

  • You know…I’ve thought about this idea, but more in the context of community lending of equipment. For instance I have a seed/fertizer spreader that we got from Kiwanis and have used maybe 3 times. It’s really useful when it is useful. Would be willing to lend out…
